The Australian Rural Education Centre (AREC) is a multi-use exhibition & demonstration site located just 2.5km from the CBD of the NSW central Ranges town of Mudgee.

AREC is home to the Mudgee Small Farm Field Days which has for over 30 years been one of NSW's premier field days events attracting over 450 exhibitors and large crowds every year.

AREC also hosts a number of other events during the year including Bike Muster at Easter (recreational cycling), Motorfest in September and is also the permanent site for the Mudgee Motorcross club which has purpose built track on site.
